Best Grilling Recipes

Who’s ready to fire up that grill again!? Barbecue season is finally here which means spending more time outside grilling some delicious food! Whether it’s burgers, steak, chicken, or veggies – there’s nothing quite like a delicious grilled meal! Take your grilling up a notch with these mouthwatering recipes from our alum chefs. 

Grillville Beer Can Chicken – Stephanie Izard ​

Ingredients:
  • 1 whole chicken
  • Kosher salt
  • 1 12oz. beer 
  • This Little Goat went to Grillville
Directions:
  1. The night before grilling (or even just a few hours before), season the whole chicken with a generous dusting of salt and place on a rack so all the skin can dry out.
  2. The nest day (or a few hours later), drink or pour out a third of your beer. Stand the bird up over the beer can and season well with This Little Goat wen to Grillville.
  3. Get one side of the grill super-hot and place the chicken on the other side of the grill with a dip tray underneath.
  4. Grill for 45 minutes with the grill top closed.


The Old Backyard Burger – Adam Sobel

Ingredients:
  • Burger Patties
  • Bacon
  • American Cheese
  • Swiss Cheese
  • Lettuce
  • Red Onion
  • Relish
  • Mustard
  • Ketchup
  • Brioche Buns 


Jalapeno Poppers – John Cox

Ingredients:
  • Ground beef
  • Cheddar
  • Onion
  • Garlic
  • Salt
  • Egg
  • Jalapeños
  • Bacon
Directions:
  1. Mix the ground beef with the cheddar, onion, garlic, salt and egg.
  2. Cut jalapeños in half, remove seeds, and soak overnight.
  3. Fill the meat mix into jalapeños and wrap with thin slices bacon.
  4. Grill until crispy. 


Dean’s BBQ Chicken – Dean Fearing

Ingredients:
  • 1 whole chicken
  • Olive Oil
  • Salt
  • Pepper
  • Preferred rub
  • Preferred Barbecue Sauce

Grilled Ratatouille – Ludo Lefebvre

Ingredients:
  • 1 eggplant
  • 1 red bell pepper
  • 1 green bell pepper
  • 1 red onion
  • 3 large tomatoes
  • 1 basket of cherry tomatoes
  • 1 green zucchini
  • 1 yellow zucchini
  • 1 head of garlic
  • 1 1/2 cup of olive oil
  • 1/4 cup sherry vinegar
  • 2 sprigs each of basil, mint and thyme
  • salt and pepper
